Today, Logitech announced its E3 2008 product lineup, and there are goodies being featured for several systems: Wii, PS3, DS Lite and PSP Slim all get a little bit of Logitech E3 lovin' this year.
Cordless Keyboard for Wii
As the Wii is being used more and more not just to play games, but to communicate with others, the need for a keyboard becomes more obvious. And, in order to help deliver that console ten-foot-away gaming experience, Logitech presents the Logitech Cordless Keyboard for Wii. This keyboard is officially licensed by Nintendo, features dedicated buttons for Zoom In/Out, Forward/Back, Quit and Okay, and has full-sized keys for comfortable typing, while powerful 2.4 GHz wireless technology allows typing from comfy couches or bean bags up to 30 feet away.
The Cordless Keyboard for Wii will be priced at a suggested retail price of $49.99 USD.
Driving Force Wireless Wheel for PS3
Gran Turismo 5: Prologue is an amazing drive, but you're going to want to experience something more realistic than driving with a SIXAXIS or Dual Shock 3. Driving games beg for wheels, but the cords can be more than a little annoying.
The Logitech Driving Force Wireless Wheel for PS3 uses 2.4 GHz wireless technology to give you lag-free control from up to 30 feet across your living room. Its force-feedback system will let you feel each bump, crash or traction loss, while the one-piece design keeps the wheel simple and, therefore, easy to keep up with.
The Driving Force Wireless Wheel is compatible with PS3 and PS2 and will retail for $99.99 USD.
PlayGear Pocket Lite case for DS Lite
If you're looking for protection-on-the-go for your DS Lite, the new Logitech PlayGear Pocket Lite case for DS Lite may be just what you're looking for. Rugged polycarbonate construction provides an armored shell to protect your DS Lite and secure snap closures keep it safely inside. Would-be modders will be happy to know that the Playgear Pocket Lite is skinnable, with included templates for adding some personality to your DS Lite. You even have the ability to play your DS Lite while it's still in the case, offering protection while your DS Lite is in use. As an added bonus, there is stowage area for up to four DS Lite games.
The PlayGear Pocket Lite will retail at 19.99 USD.
PlayGear Pocket Slim case for PSP Slim
The PSP Slim gets its own Logitech armor coating, with the introduction of the Logitech PlayGear Pocket Slim. The PlayGear Pocket Slim features polycarbonate construction, secure snaps, the ability to play your system while still in the PlayGear Pocket and custom skinning features of its DS Lite counterpart, but features a retail price of only $14.99 USD.
Oh, and the PlayGear Pocket Slim case can be used in conjunction with the Sony 2200mAh Extended Life Battery, so no worries there.
All four of these Logitech products are slated to ship this August. (August 2008). |
