Little Orbit has recently announced its publishing lineup for E3 and there are an assortment of movie and television licenses rounding out their lineup this year.
How to Train Your Dragon 2 is being released for Xbox 360, 3DS, Wii, Wii U, and PS3 this year on June 10th. It follows closely with the release of the movie. Activision was the publisher for the original movie’s games, and Etranges Libellules was the developer for that game. This time around, it’s developed by Torus Games. Undoubtedly, there will be some differences between this game and the last. HTTYD 2 promises the addition of some open world elements, as well as a lot more character integration. There seems to be a heavy focus on racing in this game. Since the Vikings are now dragon friendly, there’s a lot of interesting elements that we could see added to this game. It is a shame, however, that there’s no taking advantage of the muscle of the PS4 or Xbox One. Check out the two screens below.
Planes: Fire & Rescue is the game that will accompany the release of Disney’s newest vehicle-based CG animated feature of the same name. Kids love playing rescue with planes and cars, so this game promises to tap into those fun games. Look for aircraft and wheeled vehicles of all types to pitch in help the visitors and wildlife of Piston Park. It will be released on Wii, Wii U, 3DS and DS.
Falling Skies: The Game is a tactical strategy RPG based on the TV series by Amblin Television. There’s scant information available for this game, save for the fact that you will fight with the human resistance against the alien invaders. Fans of the TNT show will have to wait for more information on this one. The scope and size of this game remains to be seen. We do at least know it will be released on PS3, Xbox 360, Steam, Wii U, PSN, and Xbox GonD. For a sneak peek, check out the screens below.
Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom is yet another Adventure Time game. This time, they explore a previously unexplored kingdom and rescue princesses, but that seems pretty much par for the course for Jake and Finn. It looks to be an overhead view game in a classic The Legend of Zelda style. We’ll see it on PS3, Xbox 360, 3DS, Steam, PSN, and Xbox GonD.
Disney Violetta: Rhythm & Music is a game based on a Disney Channel TV series. If there was scant information about the Falling Skies game, there’s remarkably even less about this game. You will find yourself playing rhythm and music based games on a quest for fame and superstardom in the music and singing world. It will be released for Nintendo Wii, 3DS and DS.
Winx Club: Saving Alfea will have players joining in the adventures of the Winx fairys. Switch between human and fairy forms, solve puzzles, and utilize each Winx’ unique abilities. Expect lots of high flying and magic in this game as you team up to battle Selina and her Legendarium. You’ll see this game release for Nintendo 3DS and DS.
