Find Out What Happened After Tales of Xillia...

Last year, I was enamored with a game called Tales of Xillia. Actually, I am still playing it through since there was so much available to do in it if you played both Jude and Milla’s stories. This year, we get Tales of Xillia 2 for a new addiction. Tales of Xillia 2 picks up a year after the previous game ended. Both Rieze Maxia and Elympios are trying to adjust to their worlds after the climax of Tales of Xillia. Jude, Milla, and the others knew that it was going to take a while for both worlds to adjust, but it was the only solution. Now they are all living out their lives on the worlds. You will supposedly get to see them at some points in Tales of Xillia 2.

This time, a young man named Ludger Kresnik (you might recognize that last name) is going to be your main character. Like Jude was before, Ludger is just trying to figure out his place in life and grow up to make his family happy. He runs into a girl named Elle one day and just like when Jude met Milla, his life is forever changed when he decides to help her find her father.

In the previous Tales games, I don’t believe the story ever changed based on the choices you have your characters make in the game. Supposedly, this time the choices you have Ludger make can change his relationships and even the story. I don’t know how much it will be different, but I can’t wait to see. Also, the battle system has been changed a bit. It is still real-time, but there is now a "Weapon Swap" system and "Chromatus transformations." I have no clue what those are, but we’ll all be able to find out when Tales of Xillia 2 is released on Aug. 19th! Until then, here are some screens and a trailer to whet your appetite.
