All of the new clothing for both sexes can be found under Outfits or Shoes. There are no new loose tops, bottoms, or accessories. For women, as in most stores, there are more choices available than there are for the men. There are no new outfits for toddlers. For children, there is a cowboy (or cowgirl) and a superhero costume you can get. For teen girls, you have a few choices. There is one option for cowgirl in three different colors. It’s more of a fancy dress rather than anything I think of for a cowgirl, but you’ll have to grow up before you get more fun costumes. The horror costume (in three colors) is made of leather and buckles and reminds me almost of one of the Hellraiser characters. You have two different superhero costumes, each in three colors. They’re quite colorful, but they do look like hero costmes. Once your teen becomes a young adult, there are quite a few more choices available. There are 12 different styles each with three color options ranging from prairie woman to vampire to barely dressed superhero. You also have 5 different shoe styles with color options, so you can mix and match. I don’t think it’s fair that once you become an elder, you have to give up the sexier clothes. You have a lot fewer choices as elder.
For the teen boys, you have one choice for each genre. Once you get to young adult, you will have 9 choices total. I know it’s less than the women, but it’s still pretty good. You have two western outfits, two horror choices, and 5 superhero outfits. The good news is that the men’s costumes are more identifiable as to who they’re imitating. There is one that looks almost exactly like Dr. Evil and on a totally humorous note, one very similar to Dr. Frankenfurter from The Rocky Horror Picture Show. I know that right there is going to make someone go buy The Sims 3: Movie Stuff!
