Function:Interesting... very interesting. The UltraRacer is good... very good, actually. Bear in mind, it?s NOT a steering wheel. It is just like an R.C. car controller or a slot-car controller, but for the PSX. It?s very portable, and is a true ANALOG controller that works with your favorite analog racing games, and it has very accurate control. The UltraRacer also has programmable buttons, allowing you to customize actions to the buttons of your own preference. Throw in the unique trigger-style throttle control, and you have an easy-to-use, unique steering control. |
| Performance:This is an excellent controller for your Analog racing games. While most racing games support an analog mode, it should be noticed that this controller has NO digital mode (though there are digital direction buttons). Aside from that, the UltraRacer controller is great for continued use, especially if you take your system when you travel. It doesn't simulate that ?steering wheel? feeling, but it does provide for unparalleled precision. If you are familiar with R.C. Cars or slot-car type controllers, then the UltraRacer might feel quite natural to you. In fact, this controller is quite comfortable and easy to get used to regardless. |

Drawbacks & Problems::As long as you realize that you?re not dealing with a steering wheel, but a unique controller designed (well) for racing games, it?s great. In this light, the UltraRacer is a well designed, very usable controller. |
