But one in particular doesn't seem to want to give up on getting through to him and getting help with him moving on. Frank (Greg Kinnear) wasn't the most loyal husband, and now he spends his days watching his wife attempt to move on. Well, as luck would have it, she happens to live in the same apartment complex as Pincus, and Frank asks the dentist to get Gwen (Tea Leoni) away from her new boyfriend.
Of course, the more time Pincus spends with Gwen, the closer he starts to feel towards her and eventually falls in love with her (much to Frank's chagrin). Meanwhile, Pincus' life gets constantly interrupted by the various other ghosts that know what he can do, and for a shut-in recluse like Pincus, these constant interactions with people (alive or dead) is starting to really bother him.
As far as the DVD's special features, there isn't a lot here, but what it has is pretty good. The "Making of" featurette is pretty standard, but I enjoyed the bloopers reel called "Some People Can Do It" and the visual effects behind the scenes bit called "Ghostly Effects."
Ghost Town is a cute and pretty funny movie. The interactions between Kinnear, Leoni and Gervais are great, especially since Frank and Gwen can't talk to each other so there are plenty of scenes where Pincus has to manage conversations with the two of them without looking completely insane. Romantic comedy fans shouldn't pass this film up, and quite frankly, I think pretty much everyone should give it at least one viewing.
