The second tale is called "On Sabbath Hill." Professor Richard Weaver (John Romualdi) and Janet Weaver (Carla Bianco) are married with two kids, Joelle (Emily Monahan) and Amity (Sara Monahan). They are the stereotypical American family. Richard leaves every morning and heads to work at Sabbath Hill University where he teaches World History. He's not exactly the most ethical teacher. He kicks Matt out of his class for missing when he was sick. He's also sleeping with a student named Allison (Amanda Frost). She tells him that she's pregnant, it's his, and she wants to keep it. This news obviously doesn't fit in with his perfect family life. He simply tells her not to miss class. He's a fanatic on class attendance! She is late for the next class and walks in with a gun and shoots herself in front of the class, brains splattering all over Lauren (Jessica Kennedy), Allison's roommate. Oddly enough, when the police get there, the gun is missing. Weaver is such a stickler for class attendance that he won't let his students miss class, even for her funeral. That afternoon, he is there late and starts hearing things. He wanders all around, but can't find the source of the noises. It appears that the campus is deserted. Of course, it's a small campus to begin with, so that's not too odd. On his way home, when he puts a CD in his car CD player, instead of his normal music he hears Allison's voice, which really puts him on edge. The next morning he oversleeps, which is unheard of for him. In class, strange things start happening, like the door opening and a puddle of blood that no one else sees. Weaver is truly haunted now. Can he survive it?
The final story is called "Dust." George's (John Shepard) wife Audrey (Adrienne Wehr) is dying. She's on a morphine drip for the pain, which is really bad. He doesn't want to leave her side, but has to go to work. He's a security guard at Ellerton Research Lab. Alex (Sam Redford) is a researcher there working on Mars dust. This dust seems to have magical properties. Alex wants George to get him into an area that he doesn't have clearance for to run more tests. George wants Alex to try the dust on his wife, but Alex says that it'll be years of research before he would have any idea how to help a human. George isn't happy with that though and steals some so he can try on his own. She's been given only 4 months to live anyway, so what can it hurt? He doesn't take much and he slips it into her morphine drip. The effects are amazing, but at what cost?
There is one special feature available, a "Making of," which isn't bad. These stories are a bit better than Volume 1 was and they are much more gruesome. The acting is better as well. While they're still not the greatest horror stories I've seen, I enjoyed watching them. I like stories that demonstrate the lengths that humans will go.
