A Whole Lotta Rock Band DLC

Harmonix and MTV Games announced three new DLC packs for Rock Band 2. The list includes the 60 Minutes's favorite 80's child corruptors (well, other than D&D), Judas Priest, new power group The Dead Weather and indie rockers Big Dipper.

  • Big Dipper - "Younger Bums"
  • Judas Priest - "Dissident Aggressor (Live)"
  • Judas Priest - "Eat Me Alive (Live)"
  • Judas Priest - "Prophecy (Live)"
  • The Dead Weather - "Hang You From the Heavens"
  • The Dead Weather - "No Hassle Night"
  • The Dead Weather - "Treat Me Like Your Mother"

All three packs will be available for the 360 and PS3 next week (360 - 7/14; PS3 - 7/16) as part of three band-specific packs ($5.48/ 440 MSP) or as individual songs ($1.99/ 160 MSP).


Not one to leave Wii-owners out in the dark, a back catalog of Rock Band songs will be released for Wii. Tracks include Evanescence, Maroon 5, Foreigner, The Pixies and The Killers. All will be available for 200 Wii Points.

Finally, Rock Band Unplugged will see its second round of DLC with Killswitch Engage's My Curse and Radiohead's My Iron Lung. Each is available for $1.99 from the Rock Band Unplugged in-game store.
