Quantum Theory Demo Available on PSN

Japanese mega-publisher Tecmo-Koei announced today that a demo for the upcoming shooter Quantum Theory is available right now on the PlayStation Network. PlayStation gamers will be able to check out the third-person action for themselves as long as they have a internet connection.
In the demo, players will control Syd as he eliminates the opposition after teaming up with mysterious, mystical Filena. Filena and Syd will have to work together with unique weapons and abilities to overcome the powerful diablosis, an organic black substance that infects everything in its path.
For those unfamiliar with Quantum Theory, many outlets have best described the game as Gears of War meets Final Fantasy. Magic and mysticism meet huge explosions and cover-based shooting.
The demo is only available on PSN for now, but Xbox gamers can expect a demo for themselves later this month. Quantum Theory will be available on the PS3 and Xbox 360 on September 28.
