The plot will pick up almost immediately after the end of
Killzone 2. Sec, Radec and Rico have all completed their missions. With Visari, the Helghast dictator, gone, a power vacuum has led to internal strife in the Helghast Government. Two successors have stepped up to the plate to try and take control, the CEO of Stahl Arms and a Helghast Admiral.
Meanwhile, Sev and Rico are stuck in the middle. Reinforcements aren't coming and they need to get off planet as soon as possible.
Loeb also revealed that veteran actors Malcolm McDowell and Ray Winstone have signed on to voice the two would-be Helghast successors.
This is the first of many promised Killzone 3 trailers, "taking a closer look at the backgrounds and motivations for the story's main characters, as well as the actors who've brought them to life."
