I've said before that some of the best things on television these days... aren't on television. With advancements in technology making it possible for anyone to make decent videos with a cellphone or really good videos with a decent SLR camera, there's a lot of entertainment to be found on the Internet. What I hadn't really thought about too much was the normal television programming that's making its way onto the Internet, whether it be via YouTube, Hulu or, in this case, Crackle.com...
Crackle, the multi-platform entertainment network, announced today that the iconic and critically acclaimed, drama series "Rescue Me", will be added to Crackle's extensive content line-up beginning Monday, October 1st. Starring Denis Leary as a veteran fireman in post-9/11 New York City, the Emmy and Golden Globe -nominated series that concluded in 2011 will be released in its entirety with seasons rolling out through March 2013. Crackle is the first multi-platform network to present the entire series free to viewers.

This collection complements Crackle's popular on-demand movie selection including Donnie Brasco, We Own The Night, Silent Hill and Ultraviolet, among many more.
