Reel Deal Slots Adventure! is an odd game. Phantom EFX tried to mesh a slots game with an adventure and it really just isn't a good or necessary fit. You will go through your "adventure" by getting tidbits of pointless storyline and each spot you travel to on the map delineates a level of the game. You are given challenges to do and you can choose to accept them or to not play them at all. Doing well in the challenges nets you some play money, but since there's not much you can do with the money other than accrue it, it's kind of pointless.
Once you get into the game, you'll be challenged to make a certain amount of money per level or to pop so many balloons in a particular challenge by doing well in the slots game, things like that. Once you complete your goal, you'll move on to the next area.
As far as playig the slots games themselves, you start off with some money and your goal is to increase your bankroll. You do this by winning at the slots by lucking into lining up matching pictures. Pretty basic. You can opt to select which lines you want to play (straight across, diagonal, etc.) to optimize your chances of winning. I placed the maximum bet with the maximum lines each time and most times, I won something. Once I tried to cash out during a challenge so I could hold on to that money, but doing so would have ended the challenge and I certainly didn't want to do it again, so I didn't cash out. This game consists of continuously clicking on the mouse to work the slots and it just felt pointless. Are you sensing a theme? Even with the "adventure" plotline thrown in, I wasn't driven to see what happened because it really didn't matter one way or another since you can go back later and play any of the games you encounter. They even throw in little mini-games like working a bar and filling up beers, but they aren't much fun either.
